ENHYDRO SCIENCE / DIGITAL HEALTH

Better insight into medication-related risk.

MediControl is a clinical decision-support software platform developed by Enhydro Science for structured evaluation of potential pharmacological risks in polypharmacy.

Designed to support healthcare professionals. The clinician remains responsible for every therapeutic decision.

PHARMACOLOGICAL RISK ASSESSMENT

Four complementary dimensions.

Evaluation integrates medicine information, interaction mechanisms and clinically relevant patient parameters.

01

Metabolism and interactions

Assessment of potential interactions involving CYP substrates, inhibitors and inducers.

02

Elimination and transporters

Considerations involving renal function, non-CYP pathways and drug transporters.

03

Exposure sensitivity

Contextualization of medicines with different therapeutic-index characteristics.

04

Risk patterns

Potential QT prolongation, bleeding, sedation, hypotension and other clinically relevant pharmacodynamic effects.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Current product and next-generation platform.

MediControl 1.0 · MDR Class I

Current medical-device software

According to the manufacturer, the Class I version is registered in Italy and supports medication-risk evaluation within its specified intended purpose. It does not autonomously change prescriptions.

MediControl 2.0 · IN DEVELOPMENT

Extended clinical workflows

Development roadmap includes more complex clinical evaluation and follow-up scenarios. A future MDR classification remains subject to the final intended purpose and applicable conformity assessment; no higher classification certification is claimed.

Clinical responsibility: MediControl supports assessment and does not replace clinical judgment, validated prescribing references, or patient-specific evaluation. Product claims and the applicable scope must remain aligned with approved manufacturer documentation.
